The image was of a young girl but what was interesting about the face was the expression of time. A young faces is flat without lines. They crept in as I was painted.

Old Home

After many years away from painting I started with the most familiar brush and canvas with monochromatic palette. This is part a group of black and white painting of women I did as a way of getting back in to painting. It inspiration came from a series of photo of people in old age homes
